The Mission of the Journal
The International Business School of Vilnius University begins publishing the journal International Business: Innovations, Psychology, Economics covering different social sciences pertaining to international business. Today, in Lithuania there are numerous scientific journals dealing with the legal aspects of business and financial management, but so far there has been no journal to investigate the psychology of business, business education, sociology, to analyse innovations and possibilities of cooperation between business and higher education.
The mission of this journal is to facilitate cooperation between the world’s scientific and business institutions by creating joint programmes for continuous learning at universities and companies, developing entrepreneurship and excellent competences in research, collaboration in business innovation research, introducing the latest scientific discoveries into practice and disseminating good business practices as prescribed by scientific laws, concepts, current analysis and the forecast of the situation.
The journal aims to disseminate the latest scientific discoveries in business research (in the managerial, innovative, psychological, educational, legal, economic, sociological and other aspects), good experience of business and success in life, analysis of the Lithuanian and world’s markets, their present state and future prospects.
The tasks and objectives of the journal include:
• promoting the idea of lifelong learning in a higher education institution of international business as a tool of remaining a competitive and successful entrepreneur and a business manager in constantly changing global market conditions;
• attracting and bringing together for co-operation Lithuanian and foreign students, businessmen and Lithuanian and foreign researchers;
• disseminating the best international experience in business as a scientific research case studies;
• attracting the interest of readers and gaining international recognition.
